The librarians will provide instruction about library research and resources to classes on any topic.听 Generally these classes are arranged on an individual basis with the instructor and last for one class period, although the librarians are happy to schedule more extensive instruction for those classes that carry a heavy research component.听
We strongly encourage setting up an appointment with a librarian prior to the session to discuss the associated assignments.听 Also, we can no longer can provide instruction if the professor is not also present for the initial library session.听 A range of guides developed in conjunction with these classes can be found on the 辫补驳别.听
Instructors may also want to encourage their students to book a with a Library Associate or librarian.听 During a Research Support session, a librarian or trained peer Library Associate works one-on-one with a student to develop research strategies for locating and incorporating materials in their research projects.
