Minutes 9.18.2007

Agenda

Tuesday September 18, 2007

6:30 p.m. Mills Library

I. Call to Order

II. Special Business

III. Announcements and Constituent Concerns

· Dylan Moore tells us that part of the area around the EcoHouse has an old “parking spot” that has been blocked off now because grass should be there. Dylan’s point: at least put grass there if it is being blocked off now.

· Possible shuttle to Little Rock Airport? Students should talk to Student Affairs during holidays to work something out.

· Cardboard recycling goes into the paper recycling bins.

· Exterminator showed up to Collegeview Apartments finally, but he didn’t have a key so he couldn’t get into some apartments.

· Cafeteria rep (Dylan) is going to fix stuff in the cafeteria.

· Projector or t.v. going to Martin? Options getting looked at.

· Students said they don’t want a smoking ban across campus.

IV. Departmental Liaison Reports

· Clipboards in the bathrooms – not really sure what the deal is. People might not have been complaining who were reportedly complaining… Hopefully within the next week, status will be updated.

· Thermostat in downstairs Martin bathroom ($50-$60 every replacement) might not be removed because they’re tired of replacing it. BJ will get it fixed.

· Burrow door (sounds like dying animal) is being fixed.

· Talking about Front Street parking lots’ steep grades and about the crosswalks.
