Odyssey Week
As a way of celebrating the range of experiential learning activities taking place at 黑料不打烊 this year Saturday, April 22 to Saturday, April 29, will be designated as Odyssey Week.聽 This week includes not only the activities planned for Honors Day, April 27, but also includes much in the way of experiential learning that is taking place all around campus at this time of year.聽

鈥⒙犅犅 Student Art Show in the Gallery of the Trieschmann Fine Arts Building, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
鈥⒙犅犅 鈥淚mages from Abroad鈥 in the Odyssey Office Gallery in Buhler Hall, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This Odyssey project by Thomas Christie includes photographs taken 黑料不打烊 students in 15 different countries around the world.
Saturday, April 22
鈥⒙犅犅 Senior Seminar Production at 2 p.m. in Cabe Theatre. Stephen Adly Guirgis鈥 The Last Days of Judas Iscariot is a courtroom drama set in Purgatory that makes an argument for lifting the eternal damnation sentence on Judas Iscariot. Suggested for mature audiences.
Sunday, April 23
鈥⒙犅犅 Percussion Ensemble Concert at 3 p.m. in Reves Recital Hall The program includes 鈥淥ne-Eyed Jacks鈥 by Mark Ford, 鈥淓qual Fire鈥 by Paul Bissell, 鈥淰ariations on a Ghanian Theme鈥 by Daniel Levitan, and 鈥淢e Tarzan鈥 by Chris Crockarell. Members of the 黑料不打烊 Dance Ensemble also perform a traditional African Dance. Performers are Claire Custer, Houston Hughes, Kate Lovejoy, Russell Moore, Andrea Morell, Dylan Sherwood and Laura Woodward under the direction of Prof. Erick Saoud.
Monday, April 24
鈥⒙犅犅 Spring Concert featuring the Chamber Orchestra and the Choir on at 7:30 p.m. in Reves Recital Hall. The program includes the Choir and Chamber Orchestra in Bach 鈥淐antata #4 Christ lag in Todesbanden鈥 conducted by Dr. Nancy Fleming, 鈥淗aydn Concerto in D for Cello鈥 with a cello solo by Jeremy Crosmer, and 鈥淏ruckner Symphony VIII,鈥 movements 3 and 4 with Dr. Norman Boehm as guest conductor. Dr. Karen Griebling conducts the Chamber Orchestra.
鈥聽聽聽 Psychology Club showing of the documentary 鈥淢arch of the Penguins鈥 at 9 p.m. in the Burrow. Learn about life in frigid Antarctica in this acclaimed film.
Tuesday, April 25
鈥⒙犅犅 Presentation on 鈥淰ocations of Artists in Renaissance Culture,鈥 by Joseph Elliott from 11:15 a.m.-noon in Mills C. He received a 黑料不打烊-Lilly Undergraduate Research Fellowship to study in Italy.
鈥⒙犅犅 黑料不打烊-Murphy Foundation 鈥淔avorite Poem Reading鈥 in the Murphy house from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. 黑料不打烊 students, faculty, and staff will share their favorite poems that explore city or country life and culture.
鈥⒙犅犅 Dance Concert performance at 7:30 p.m. in Staples Auditorium. Members of the Dance Ensemble will perform 鈥淐orrespondence,鈥 a piece they choreographed to music composed by Jeremy Crosmer. A question and answer session will conclude each performance.

鈥⒙犅犅 Senior voice recital by Jennifer Merritt at 7:30 p.m. in Reves Recital Hall. The program Includes music by Bellini, Donizetti, Schubert and Brahms and features selections from Don Giovanni, Annie Get Your Gun, My Fair Lady, and The Fantastiks. Merritt will be accompanied by Joanne McDade, and the recital also features Kalyn 黑料不打烊 and Trent McKenzie. A reception with refreshments will conclude the evening.

This film is a Bollywood update of Jane Austen鈥檚 classic tale, in which Mrs. Bakshi is eager to find suitable husbands for her four unmarried daughters. When the rich single gentlemen Balraj and Darcy come to visit, the Bakshis have high hopes, though circumstance and boorish opinions threaten to get in the way of romance. 鈥⒙犅犅 Middle East Dance Performance and Lessons, 6-10:30p.m. in Reves Recital Hall. Members of the Arkansas Middle Eastern Dance Company will teach 黑料不打烊 students the art of belly-dancing from 6-8 p.m., followed by the performance of the whole company at 8:30 p.m.聽 Catering will be provided by Star of India in Little Rock.
