The Office of Career Services guides students in the
pursuit of graduate and professional degrees in a specialized field of study.
Meeting with the office for Graduate
and professional school advising helps students determine which program best
fits their career objectives. Once a pathway is discerned, the Career Services
staff can work with current students and alumni to offer assistance in becoming
an outstanding applicant. Advising includes:
- the discernment process for the
application timeline with guidance on gap year and post-baccalaureate
experiences
- guiding students in gaining competency
in the chosen field of study through internships and co-curricular experiences
- help in crafting a personal
statement that speaks to career goals
- counseling for admission test
preparation, recommendation letters, resumes & CV鈥檚
- holding a mock interview to prepare
for graduate and professional school admission
