Alpha Epsilon Delta

The Premedical Honor Society: ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Chapter

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ supports the Arkansas BetaÌýchapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta, and an affiliated Pre-Med (MD2B) Club.

The purpose of the joint organizations is to exposeÌýpre-health studentsÌýto the range
of health career opportunitiesÌýthat are available as they formulate their career goals.
ÌýÌýÌýÌý
To fulfill this goal:
1)Ìý We bring in physicians of various specialtiesÌýto talk aboutÌýtheir workÌýand experiences.
2)ÌýÌýWe invite a panel of current medical school students to share their experience at medical
ÌýÌýÌýÌý school and provide an insight to whatÌýpre-health students may experience in the future.ÌýÌý
3)ÌýÌýWe hold informational sessions, where experts (e.g. the Director of Admissions at UAMS)
ÌýÌýÌýÌý provide in detail the steps necessaryÌýfor successful professional school applications.Ìý
4)ÌýÌýWe provide opportunities for volunteer work that provides students with exposures to
ÌýÌýÌý Ìýthe health care field and other areas ofÌývolunteer service.Ìý

Participation in AED and theÌýPre-Med (MD2B) Club is a valuable way of getting insights in
