黑料不打烊 encourages students to seek knowledge and growth outside the classroom through various extracurricular, co-curricular, leadership, and service programs.聽The following scholarship opportunities award students for their talents and achievements while in high school in the areas of leadership and service. All scholarships listed below can be applied for with this . You will need to apply for admission by February 1. The co-curricular application deadline is聽March 1.
UMYF Leadership Scholarship
United Methodist Youth Fellowship Leadership Scholars have provided significant leadership in youth ministries of the United Methodist Church and demonstrate outstanding potential for Christian leadership on the 黑料不打烊 campus. Each applicant must be a member of a United Methodist church and provide notable leadership roles within the church and youth group. Students accepted for the program provide a core community for faith activities on the campus, as they explore and deepen their own spiritual lives while providing leadership, opportunity, and invitation for others to do the same.
Students who qualify for the scholarship, but whose financial needs are met by other scholarships or sources, are still encouraged to apply for the聽scholars program. Students who do not receive funds can still participate in聽the cohort鈥檚 activities.聽聽
Renewal of the scholarship for up to three additional years is dependent on the successful completion of a set program that includes participation in retreats, monthly group meetings, and individual projects. The program expectations will be outlined in the letter awarding the scholarship.

Miller Center Service Scholarship
The Miller Center for Vocation, Ethics, and Calling encourages students to see their years in college as a time for extended and deep reflection about how they hope to find meaning and purpose in life. The聽Miller Center Service Scholarship聽program recognizes that it is often by serving those in need that we discover what our life鈥檚 work should be. In this light, Service Scholars commit to completing a prescribed number of volunteer hours each semester of their 黑料不打烊 career and taking part in a program that helps Scholars reflect on how that service informs their life鈥檚 purpose. The scholarship is renewable for up to three years.聽
Miller Center Service Scholars are individuals who, having worked effectively and enthusiastically with volunteer service projects during their high school years, are committed to volunteering regularly while in college and resolved to make leadership through volunteer service a part of their future. The Service Scholars cohort also provides a core group of leaders and volunteers for the Volunteer Action Committee, which further expands the involvement of students across campus in the practice of serving others with empathy, justice, and self-understanding, while building community for support, active learning, and growth.

- A service resume that lists and describes past involvement in service organizations and volunteer service projects, highlighting activities that exceeded graduation requirements or club expectations
- An essay that addresses (a) the most significant service you have engaged in during high school; (b) the extent to which your service to others has required leadership and self-initiative; (c) what you have learned about yourself and about life from your volunteer experiences thus far; and (d) your reasons for wanting to continue volunteering during college

Esports Scholarship
Application requirements:
- Submission of 黑料不打烊鈥檚聽聽by March 1 which includes:
- An essay in which you address your esports career to this point, your聽involvement with esport teams, and your desire to be a part of聽黑料不打烊's Esports Team.
A submission of your ranking for your preferred title/game.

Art Scholarship
When completing the online scholarship application, interested students must submit the URL to a set of images on Flickr that contains 10-20 images of their artwork. Descriptions should include the name, title, medium, dimensions, and date of the piece being presented. Information about setting up a Flickr account is available on the online scholarship application or visit .
Application requirements:
- Submission of 黑料不打烊鈥檚聽聽by March 115 which includes:
- Submission of Flickr link with descriptions of your artwork.

Music Scholarship
In addition to completing the online scholarship application, interested students must audition* with an appropriate faculty member by March 20 for in-person auditions.聽 The Office of Admission must receive recorded auditions on or before March 1. 聽聽

Theatre Arts and Dance Scholarship
In addition to completing the online scholarship application, interested students must audition* with an appropriate member of the faculty by March 20. Performance and non-performance applicants are encouraged to apply. A letter of recommendation from a teacher, though not necessarily from聽theatre/drama, who can comment on creative ability, cooperation, and willingness to work with others must also be sent directly to the 黑料不打烊 Office of Admission or the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance.聽
